The local manufacturing heritage of the Potteries has been remembered, with factories now producing beautiful shades for Original BTC. Across the West Midlands, Peter has come to the aid of metalworks and glassworks in and around Birmingham. These factories, again, now solely manufacture different elements of Original BTC's lighting.

Producing pendants, wall lights and more with a signature level of quality and attention to detail, Original BTC also encompasses Davey Lighting. Nine years later Original BTC also saved a metal works in Birmingham and began to create its metal lighting there. When lit, the natural china lampshade has a translucent glow that allows for warm diffused light, and the adjustable bracket ensures the lampshade can be directed wherever light is needed. Drawn to the translucency and versatility of bone china, designer Peter Bowles saw an opportunity to create something other than tableware with this time-honoured material.
